Family Oven & Cafe was created with a simple idea: to bring good food, warm hospitality and meaningful connections together under one roof.
We want to create a place where people can enjoy quality bakery products, cakes, coffee and meals at reasonable prices — while feeling comfortable, respected and welcomed.
But our purpose goes beyond serving food. We also believe in the power of skills and practical learning. Through bakery training and hands-on experience, we aim to help people develop confidence, creativity and skills that can open doors to employment, entrepreneurship and a better future.

Meet Our Chef
Chef & Founder
Chef Susan Limbu is a certified culinary professional and the visionary founder of Family Oven & Cafe. Officially certified by Chef Nepal (Cert ID: 2026CNCM008) and an internationally certified Trainer of Trainers (ToT) in HR Management Tools & Branding through Swiss Create AG and COM International (Switzerland), Chef Susan brings over a decade of deep, hands-on bakery and pastry expertise to Lalitpur.
From artisan sourdough and flaky French viennoiserie to bespoke multi-tiered celebration cakes, his philosophy is rooted in authentic craftsmanship and family warmth. As master trainer, he has mentored dozens of aspiring bakers, passing on industry-standard techniques with a 100% practical, real-production approach.
Recognized by Chef Nepal and certified by Swiss Create & COM International (Switzerland).
Officially recognized and certified by Chef Nepal in recognition of professional culinary excellence, active contribution to the hospitality industry, and commitment to promoting Nepali gastronomy at national and global levels.
